News Fifty-four million Filipinos or more than 70% of the target population are now fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 despite the surge of Omicron cases and the difficulties caused by Super Typhoon Odette. According to the National Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC), a total of 111,383,756 vaccine doses were provided, of which 54,457,863 Filipinos or exactly 70.60% of the aimed populace had received full vaccinations as of January 13. In a statement by National Task Force Against COVID-19 Chief Implementer and vaccine czar Secretary Carlito G.
